Dental Microscopes – Transforming The Way That The Modern Dentist Operates It is well known that what often influences the quality of treatment is the degree to which the clinician can see.
The increasing use of fibre optic illumination and magnification in both medicine and dentistry support the need for a well illuminated magnified field of vision. Previously unattainable levels of dental care are made possible by higher magnifications and intense homogenous lighting provided by Dental Operating Microscopes [DOM].
Until now, dentists have in general been sceptical of the benefits of microscope use in primary care. It is anticipated that the use of DOMs in dentistry will rise in the next few years, driven by the high quality dental care now expected by patients.
This site includes examples of procedures carried out by the author, that would have been impossible to
achieve successfully without the use of DOM's.
